dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze several things,
namely; the effect of transformational leadership on organizational citizenship
behavior, the effect of transformational leadership on job satisfaction, the effect of
emotional intelligence on organizational citizenship behavior, the effect of
emotional intelligence on job satisfaction, the effect of job satisfaction on
organizational citizenship behavior, the effect of transformational leadership on
organizational citizenship behavior mediated by job satisfaction and the effect of
emotional intelligence on organizational citizenship behavior mediated by job
satisfaction. In this study using associative research type with a sample of 61
respondents who are employees of PT Bank BTN Medan Office. The data
collection technique uses a list of statements such as questionnaires and data
analysis techniques using Partial Least Square (SmartPls) to test the seven
hypotheses proposed in this study. The results showed that the effect of
transformational leadership on organizational citizhenship behavior was positive
and significant, the effect of transformational leadership on job satisfaction was
positive and organizational, the effect of emotional intelligence on organizational
citizhenship behavior was positive and significant, the effect of emotional
intelligence on job satisfaction was positive and significant, the effect of job
satisfaction on organizational citizhenship behavior was positive and significant,
the effect of transformational leadership on organizational citizhenship behavior
mediated by job satisfaction is positive and significant (meaning job satisfaction
becomes a mediating variable between transformational leadership and
organizational citizhenship behavior), the effect of emotional intelligence on
organizational citizhenship behavior mediated by job satisfaction is positive and
significant (meaning job satisfaction becomes a mediating variable between
emotional intelligence and organizational citizhenship behavior). | en_US |
