    Abstract
    The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the influence of investment knowledge, minimum capital policy, investment motivation, investment risk perception and online trading facilities on interest in capital market investment studies among students in Medan Tuntungan District. This type of research is associative research. The data used is primary data. The population in this study were active students in Medan Tuntungan District. The sample used was 100 students. The analytical method used is descriptive statistical analysis method and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this research indicate that partially Investment Knowledge has a positive and significant effect on Investment Interest. Minimum Capital Policy has a positive and significant effect on Investment Interest. Investment Motivation has a positive and significant effect on Investment Interest. Investment Risk Perception has a negative and insignificant effect on Investment Interest. Online Trading facilities have a positive and significant effect on Investment Interest. The value of the Coefficient of Determination (R2) is 26.2%, investment interest is influenced by Investment Knowledge, Minimum Capital Policy, Investment Motivation, Investment Risk Perception and Online Trading Facilities and the remaining 73.8% investment interest is influenced by other variables outside this research model.
