    Abstract
Background: Chrysanthemum flowers are in great demand among the public because diverse colors and beautiful and long-lasting flower shapes. Chrysanthemum (Chrysanthemum morpholium) (Ramat.) Hemsl.) is widely used as herbal medicine or medicine Traditionally famous in China and Thailand because it contains several natural active compounds. The natural antioxidants contained in chrysanthemums are flavonoid and phenolic compounds. The most common phenolics contained in chrysanthemum flowers (C.morifolium) are acacetin, linarin, 3,5-di-O-caffeoylquinic and chlorogenic acids. Meanwhile, in the flavonoid group, contained in chrysanthemum flowers (C. morifolium) are quercetin, apigenin and luteolin. Objective: The aim of this study was to determine the total levels of phenol and total flavonoids in the ethanol extract of snow white chrysanthemum flowers (Chrysanthemum morifolium (Ramat.) Hemsl.) using the UV-Visible spectrophotometric method. Methods: Determination of total phenol and total flavonoid levels was carried out using colorimetric method. Where the determination of total phenol content uses reagents Folin-Ciocalteu and testing total flavonoid levels using AlCl3 reagent on ethanol extract of snow white chrysanthemum flowers using the maceration method UV-Visible spectrophotometry. Results: Results of total phenol content in snow white chrysanthemum flower extract (Chrysanthemum morifolium (Ramat.) Hemsl.) with an average of 4.12607943 mg GAE/g sample and results of total flavonoid content in the extract snow-white chrysanthemum flowers (Chrysanthemum morifolium (Ramat.) Hemsl.) with an average of 11.545523 mg QE/g sample Conclusion: The results of this study can be concluded that the total phenol content on snow white chrysanthemum flower extract (Chrysanthemum morifolium (Ramat.) Hemsl.) with an average of 4.12607943 mg GAE/g sample and results The total flavonoid content in snow white chrysanthemum (Chrysanthemum) flower extract morifolium (Ramat.) Hemsl.) with an average of 11.545523 mg QE/g sample.
