Faktor-Faktor yang Berhubungan dengan Terjadinya Fluor Albus pada Remaja Putri Kelas X SMAN2 Tebing Tinggi

Abstract

Flour albus (leucorrhoea) is white liquid secreting excessively from vagina. It is a problem which affects more than 75% of women throughhout the world. 60% of them are under 22 years old and the remaining 40% are under 45 years old complain about flour albus. The objective of this research is to identify some factors which are correlated with the incidence of flour albus in Grade X female students at SMAN2, TebingTinggi. This is a descriptive correlation research with cross-sectional design conducted on 126 female students as the samples which is taken by using purposive sampling technique. The data are collected by using questioners. The result of univariate analysis finds that majority of 75,4% of the respondents undergo pathological flour albus. Meanwhile, the result of bivariate (spearman rho) shows that there is correlation of knowledge, personal hygiene, the use of pantyliner and the use of feminine soap with the incidence of flour albus at p-value<0,05 in which knowledge is at p=0,002, personal hygiene is at p=0,000, the use of pantyliners is at p=0,003, and the use of feminine soap is at p=0,002). It is suggested that the school management collaborate with health worker or puskesmas (Public Health Centre) to provide reprodective health conseling regularly.
