    Abstract
UD. Sari Jangek is a cracker processing business from ox skin. This research focuses on designing a feather scraper on ox skin at UD. Sari Jangek where one of the processing stages, namely the process of scraping the fur on the ox skin, is still done manually with the posture of workers who are not ergonomic, namely bending and squatting, and requires a long and repetitive time. To scrape 100 kg of ox skin, which is equivalent to 4 pieces of ox skin divided into 24 parts, is done by 6 workers for 2 hours. As a result, workers complain of aches, pains and cramps in the body which can increase the risk of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs). It is known from the results of distributing the Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaire to workers with the most complaints in the upper neck with a percentage of 4.22%, right shoulder with a percentage of 4.22%, left shoulder with a percentage of 4.22%, back with a percentage of 4.82%, waist with a percentage of 4.22%, buttocks with a percentage of 4, 82%, buttocks with a percentage of 4.82%, left hand with a percentage of 4.22%, right hand with a percentage of 4.22%, left thigh with a percentage of 4.82%, right thigh with a percentage of 4.82%, left calf with a percentage of 4.22%, right calf with a percentage of 4.22%, left foot with a percentage of 4.22% and right foot with a percentage of 4.22%. Then analyze the work posture using the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method which shows a score of 10, which is high risk. From the results of these scores, it is necessary to improve the position at work. Based on this, it is necessary to design a feather scraper on ox skin by paying attention to aspects of consumer needs and anthropometric data. The purpose of this research is to provide an ergonomic design of a feather scraper on ox skin to prevent the risk of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) when scraping feathers with good worker posture using the Ergonomic Function Deployment (EFD) method.
