Pengaruh Toleransi Risiko, Sosial Media, dan Literasi Keuangan Terhadap Keputusan Investasi pada Generasi Milenial Kecamatan Medan Selayang

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Risk Tolerance, Social Media, and Financial Literacy on Investment Decisions of the millennial generation of Medan Selayang District. This research is associative research and the type of data used is quantitative data, the population in this study is the millennial generation community of Medan Selayang District with a sample size of 130 people. The sample area includes six villages in Medan Selayang District, namely Padang Bulan Selayang I, Padang Bulan Selayang II, Sempakata, Beringin, Tanjung Sari, and Asam Kumbang. Data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that Risk Tolerance has a positive and significant effect on the Investment Decisions of the millennial generation of Medan Selayang District, Social Media has a positive and significant effect on the Investment Decisions of the millennial generation of Medan Selayang District, and Financial Literacy has a positive and significant effect on the Investment Decisions of the millennial generation of Medan Selayang District.
