Pengaruh Experienced Regret, Risk Tolerance, Illusion of Control, dan Literasi Keuangan Terhadap Keputusan Investasi Cryptocurrency Masyarakat Milenial di Kota Medan

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Experience Regret, Risk Tolerance, Illusion Of Control, and Financial Literacy on cryptocurrency investment decisions among millennials in the city of Medan. This type of research uses descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The population in this research is the millennial generation in the city of Medan who have invested in crypto in an unknown amount. The sampling technique used in this research is non-probability sampling with a snowball sampling approach and probability sampling with a purposive sampling approach. The data collection technique in this research used a questionnaire technique with a total of 100 respondents. The data analysis techniques used in this research are descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. Data processing in this study used SPSS 25 software. The results of this study show that partially Experienced Regret, Risk Tolerance, Illusion Of Control, and Financial Literacy have a positive and significant effect on the cryptocurrency Investment Decisions of the millennial generation in Medan City and simultaneously the variables Experienced Regret, Risk Tolerance, Illusion Of Control, and Financial Literacy have a significant influence on cryptocurrency Investment Decisions of millennial people in the city of Medan.
