    Abstract
This study aims to look at technological changes that have an impact on socio-cultural changes, behavior patterns and economic values of the people of Tomok Village, Simanindo District, Samosir Regency. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive research with a case study approach. The data analysis technique in this research uses pattern matching technique. Data collection techniques using in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The technique of determining informants with purposive. The theoretical basis used by researchers is social change by William F. Ogburn. The results of this study indicate that the presence of technological changes, communication, applications and platforms from social media are able to accommodate all the needs of society, so that the culture of Horja Bius, Gondang Naposo is no longer implemented. Technological developments such as the presence of digital invitations, digital modern music, modern songs have been modified in such a way into the traditional culture of Toba Batak weddings. Technology such as cellphones, television, internet, and social media, makes young people's interactions influenced by contemporary, slang and modern interaction patterns. This has caused the fading of the culture of learning partuturan and dalihan na tolu. The presence of 4 piers opens the entrance for the number of tourists and the community. The development of tourism, driven by technology and social media, has fostered business development ideas and expanded businesses in Tomok Village. The emergence of more varied businesses and the ability to increase the level of economic capacity of the community. Based on William Ogburn's theory of social change, technological (material) change is one of the changes that brings great emphasis on other cultural elements (ideas, values and norms) in Tomok Village community, in the social field, behavior patterns and economic values of Tomok Village community that occur due to the intensity, use and process of community interaction.
