Job satisfaction is an important element in an organization to achieve success. Universities as organizations in the education sector are also inseparable from managing lecturer job satisfaction in order to provide the best learning process at the University. At Al-Azhar University Medan, it was found that there was a phenomenon of job dissatisfaction among lecturers. This is thought to be due to lack of work motivation and poor work communication from Al-Azhar University lecturers. Therefore, this research aims to determine the influence of Work Motivation and Work Communication on the Job Satisfaction of lecturers at Al-Azhar University Medan. This research is associative with a quantitative approach. The technique used in processing and analyzing data is multiple linear regression. The population in this study used a saturated sample, namely 84 lecturers. The results of research based on a simultaneous test (F-test) show that Work Motivation and Work Communication simultaneously have a significant effect on the Job Satisfaction of lecturers at Al-Azhar University. The partial test (t test) also shows that Work Motivation and Work Communication each have a significant positive influence on Job Satisfaction. The Determination Test shows that the relationship between Work Motivation and Work Communication shows a close relationship to Job Satisfaction of 79%. This research also proves that work motivation and work communication also have a relationship with job satisfaction in the education industry.
