Pengaruh Aplikasi Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacter (PGPR) dan Dosis Pupuk Urea terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Tanaman Jagung (Zea mays L.) Varietas Pioneer 35

Abstract

This research was conducted in Bunga Sedap Malam XVII A avenue, Medan Selayang District, Medan City situated at an altitude of approximately 25 meters from February to May 2024. This study used a Randomize Block Design Factorial with two treatment factors. The first one is the dose of PGPR : 0 g/crop, 10 g/crop, 20 g/crop, and 30 g/crop. The second factor is the dose of Urea fertilizer : 0 g/crop, 150 kg/ha (1,8 g/crop), 300 kg/ha (3,6 g/crop). The result of this study showed that the application of PGPR had a significant effect on leaf area, shoot fresh weight, root fresh weight, shoot dry weight, root dry weight and cob diameter with the recommended PGPR dose of 30 g/crop. Also, the application of Urea fertilizer had a significant effect on leaf area, shoot fresh weight, root fresh weight, shoot dry weight, root dry weight, cob length, cob diameter, rows number of seeds, 100 seeds weight, and seed weight per plot with the recommended dose of 150 kg/ha (1,8 g/crop). There is no interaction between the application PGPR and Urea fertilizer.
