| dc.description.abstract | Edamame was a type of bean food plant that originates from Japan and usually lives in tropical areas. Edamame plants contain many ingredients such as 11.4 g protein, 7.4 g carbohydrates and 6.6 g fat. The edamame that is widely cultivated is the Ryoko variety and is suitable for planting in Indonesia. The aim of the research was to evaluate the growth of edamame (Glycine max L.) Ryoko variety from Jember, East Java in Naborambe District, Deli Serdang Regency. The one-sided t test method, was used comparing the Ryoko variety Edamame plants planted in Naborambe District with those in Padang Bulan. The results showed that all parameters of plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, flowering age, harvest age, number of fresh pods per plant, number of seeds per plant and weight of fresh pods per plant planted in Namorambe District, Deli Serdang Regency were smaller and statistically not significantly different with Edamame grown in Padang Bulan. | en_US |
