| dc.description.abstract | This research aims to determine the effectiveness of botanical pestiside in
controlling rice beetle and types of rice that are resistant to attack rice weevil pest.
This research was carried out in the Pest Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture,
University of North Sumatra from March 2024 until April 2024. This research used a
completely randomized non-factorial design with botany pesticide treatment of
mahogany seeds, soursop seeds and neem seeds. The results at this study showed that
neem seeds is most effectively pesticide for controlling the mortality of the pest
Sitophilus oryzae in storage was a pesticide made from neem seeds. The most effective
pesticide for suppressing the population of Sitophilus oryzae pests in storage neem
seeds. The most effective pesticide to reduce damage to rice caused by the pest
Sitophilus oryzae is a pesticide made from neem seeds. | en_US |
