    Abstract
Bagkground : Indonesia is rich in types of agricultural plants which are used to meet people's basic needs for export as a source of foreign exchange for the country. Wungu leaves (Graphtophyllum pictum L.Griff) are known to contain antibacterial compounds, namely flavonoids, alkaloids, triterpenoid steroids and tannins. Antibacterials are compounds that function to inhibit bacteria. The mechanism for the formation of these compounds is generally carried out by damaging cell walls, changing membrane permeability, disrupting protein synthesis. , and is able to inhibit the action of enzymes. These phytochemical compounds have the potential to act as antibacterials against pathogenic bacteria, for example Staphylococcus aures bacteria. Objective : The aim of this research was to determine the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of micro M capsules of wungu leaf extract (Graphtophyllum pictum L.Griff). against Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. Method: Test the antibacterial activity of micro m capsules of wungu leaves (Graphtophyllum pictum L.Griff) against Staphylococcus aureus bacteria using the well method where the positive control is clindamycin and the negative control is DMSO. Results: Test results showed that the antibacterial activity test of wungu leaf extract (Graphtophyllum pictum L.Griff) antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus bacteria had antibacterial activity which was proven by the presence of a clear inhibition zone when determining the diameter of the inhibition zone. The test concentrations used were 200 ppm, 175 ppm, 150 ppm, 125 ppm, 100 ppm, 75 ppm with the average diameter of the inhibition zone respectively 11.76 mm, 10.66 mm, 9.63 mm, 8, 76mm, 7.7mm, 6.36mm. Conclusion: The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of micro m capsules of wungu wungu leaf extract (Graphtophyllum pictum L.Griff) is 6.35-11.76 mm against Staphylococcus aureus bacteria.
