This research is motivated by why land disputes occur in the community involving various actors. The purpose of this study is to find the sources of agrarian conflict, the actors involved, and how it affects local communities in managing and utilizing the Siharbangan area. The research was conducted using ethnographic qualitative methods in describing the local community. The research used participant observation, in-depth interviews, and document review as data sources. The result of the research showed that land tenure and utilization claims conflicted among local communities involving other actors. This conflict causes social tension, trauma within the community, prolonged disputes, and environmental degradation in the Siharbangan area. It is hoped that this research will improve our understanding of the dynamics of agrarian conflict in the Siharbangan area and provide policy suggestions that are acceptable to local communities in overcoming this problem.en_US
