    Abstract
    This research is entitled The Use of Digital Communication in Efforts to Improve Health Services at Sarah Hospital in Medan. The aim of this research is to determine the use of digital communication in an effort to improve health services implemented at the Sarah Medan General Hospital and to find out what obstacles and barriers exist in the application of digital communication in an effort to improve health services implemented at the Sarah Medan General Hospital. The theory used in this research is mass communication, health communication. Digital communication and Computer Mediated Communication. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method. The data collection technique used was through observation and interviews with an in-depth approach. Researchers carried out a series of data analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and testing data validity. Testing the validity of the data in this research used 2 source triangulation. The informants in this study were 2 patients and 1 front office worker.The results of this research prove that the implementation of digital communication at Sarah Hospital in Medan has been successfully implemented and provided significant benefits for patients. They stated that the information conveyed via digital platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp, had really helped them understand more easily the various health services available at Sarah Hospital in Medan. Apart from that, direct communication via WhatsApp is also considered very effective in expediting the service registration process and obtaining additional information quickly and practically. With easier and faster access via digital media, patients feel more helped and more confident in accessing information about the health services they need. This also increases their satisfaction with the services provided by Sarah Medan Hospital, as well as giving a positive impression of the hospital's efforts to improve the accessibility and quality of health services for the community. The ease of access to information through digital media has increased patient satisfaction and improved their experience in interacting with the hospital. Patients can easily get the information they need, such as doctor's schedules, available services, or registration procedures, without having to come directly to the hospital.
