In the last 10 years, online games have been in great demand and enjoyed by everyone, both children, teenagers and even adults. Now online games can be played with other players from different places, even between nations, between countries. This is supported by the many online game applications that can be accessed via smartphone at any time and by anyone, even children, so that many children enjoy playing these online games. Children who are dependent on online games will reduce their time socializing with peers, because online games have the potential to isolate teenagers from the social environment. On the one hand, teenagers need to have social skills to build friendships, resolve conflicts, and to work together well in groups. Online games themselves certainly have positive and negative impacts, based on the results of observations and interviews I conducted in Tanjung Gusta sub-district, Medan Helvetia District. It is said that online games have their benefits and their drawbacks. With this bad impact, if left for a long period of time, children can behave deviantly, such as; lying, aggressive behavior and gadget addiction. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this research examines the impact of online game addiction on children's behavior in Tanjung Gusta Village, Medan Helvetia District.en_US
