Uji Efektivitas Ekstrak Kulit Jeruk Nipis (Citrus aurantifolia) terhadap Penyakit Antraknosa (Colletotrichum gloeosporioides) pada Tanaman Tomat (Solanum lycopersicum)

Abstract

One of the wastes that can be treated to create valuable product is lime peel, especially extracts consisting of essential oils. Lime peel extract can be used as a pesticide that can inhibit the growth of C. gloesporioides. This study aims to obtain the best concentration of lime peel extract in inhibiting the growth of anthracnose disease caused C.gloeosporioides in tomato plants. This study used a non-factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of lime peel extract treatments (0%, 1%, 3%, 5% and 9%) with 5 replicates. The observation parameters were colony diameter, inhibition, colony growth rate of C. gloesporioides, disease occurence, sensory test and pH test. The results showed that the effectiveness applying lime peel extract treatments that was effective in inhibiting the growth of C. gloeosporioides on tomato plants was at a concentration of 9% with 40,2% inhibition and growth rate 1,80 cm.
