Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) fruit is very susceptible to damage, such damage will greatly affect the quality of tomato fruit before it reaches consumers. One effort to control tomato ripening is to use a coating technique based on edible natural ingredients. This study aims to test the effectiveness of various plant extracts as natural preservatives to control anthracnose disease in tomatoes. This study used a Non- Factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) conducted with in vitro and in vivo tests with 3 replicates and 8 treatments, namely negative control (without pathogens), positive control (only pathogens), aloe vera extract, andaliman, basil, chitosan, D'Flava, and fungicide with active ingredient Benomyl. The result showed that kitosan gave the best results as a natural preservative compared to other treatments in vitro and in vivo testingen_US
