Analysis of Determinants of Nurses' Job Satisfaction in Regional General Hospital Inpatition Unit Dr. Djasamen Saragih Pematangsiantar
Abstract
Job satisfaction is something that hospitals need to pay attention to, because high levels of employee job dissatisfaction can increase turnover rates and can reduce patient satisfaction rates. The aim of the research was to determine the determinants of job satisfaction of nurses in the inpatient unit of Dr. Regional General Hospital. Djasamen Saragih Pematangsiantar. This research is associative research and the type of data used is quantitative data. The population in this study were nurses in the inpatient unit of Dr. Regional General Hospital. Djasamen Saragih Pematangsiantar. The number of samples in this study was 60 people with a sampling technique using purposive sampling. Data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis. The data was processed statistically using the SPSS for Windows program, namely the t test, f test and determinant coefficient (R²) models. The results of this study show that simultaneously promotion opportunities, work environment, and relationships with colleagues have a positive and significant effect on nurses' job satisfaction in inpatient units. Partially, promotion opportunities, work environment, and relationships with colleagues also have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction for nurses at the inpatient unit at Dr. Regional General Hospital. Djasamen Saragih Pematangsiantar. In this study, relationships with coworkers are the most dominant variable influencing job satisfaction.
