dc.description.abstractThis research discusses the lives of women casual daily workers on the Adolina oil palm plantation, with a focus on the conditions and factors that encourage them to choose this job, the system of division of labor on the plantation, and the socio-economic lives of these workers. the family of a casual daily worker woman. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a historical approach, through five stages, including: topic selection, heuristics, verification (source criticism), interpretation (interpretation), and historiography (historical writing) The results of this research state that the main factor in women choosing to work is economic factors which are quite difficult... The husband's low income and high living needs make women choose to work to meet the family's needs. Then the living conditions of casual daily workers improve over time after working as casual daily workers, their basic needs begin to be met and their children's education reaches university. This research illustrates significant progress in the quality of life of workers on the Adolina oil palm plantation.en_US
