    Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving papaya leaf juice into drinking water on the performance of Peking ducks. Performance parameters are feed consumption, weight gain, and food conversion ratio (FCR). The research has been conducted from October to December 2023 in Wonosari Village, Tanjung Morawa District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province. The research design used was a Complete Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 5 repetition. The study used 100 Days Old Duck (DOD). The treatment consisted of P0 = Control (without adding papaya leaf juice), P1 = Positive Control (adding 5 mL of papaya leaf juice), P2 = Positive Control (adding 15 mL of papaya leaf juice), and P3 = Positive Control (adding 25 mL of papaya leaf juice). The results showed that the average feed consumption at P0 was 20543.8±56.22 grams, P1 was 20524±43.77 grams, P2 was 20729.6±59.53 grams, and P3 was 20708.8±30.52 grams. The weight gain mean at P0 is 1190.50±39.92 grams, P1 is 1364.90±107.03 grams, P2 is 1601.45±36.98 grams, and P3 is 1819.95±46.04 grams. The average FCR at P0 is 17.273±0.27, P1 is 15.114±0.54, P2 is 12.950±0.13, and P3 is 11.384±0.12. The results of the analysis showed that the application of papaya leaf flour had a real positive effect on weight gain and FCR, but no real effect on feed consumption.
