dc.description.abstractThis study aims to see how the description of self-regulated learning (SRL) of students in special programs for memorizing the Qur'an at modern Islamic boarding schools and aspects of self-regulated learning (SRL). This study uses a descriptive quantitative research method. Previous studies have revealed that SRL in students in Islamic boarding schools is good. Therefore, the focus of this study is on modern Islamic boarding schools that have quite diverse activities. The sample was selected using a non-probability sampling technique to ensure the suitability of the characteristics of the subjects with the focus of the study. The results showed that the general description of self-regulated learning (SRL) of students in special programs for memorizing the Qur'an at modern Islamic boarding schools was in the good category. Based on gender, this shows that the self-regulated learning scores of male and female students are included in the high category. Based on age range, the study shows that age has a significant and positive influence on SRL. The older an individual is, the more capable the individual is in implementing SRL. Based on the area of origin, the average self-regulated learning score of the research participants based on the highest area of origin was in the Aceh group with a score of 66 and the lowest score in the other groups with a score of 64. Meanwhile, all self-regulated learning scores of the research participants based on the area of origin were classified as high. Based on the school level, it shows that the self-regulated learning scores of the research participants are included in the high category.en_US
