Analisis Pengendalian Persediaan Bahan Baku Pada Kilang Tahu Aguan Dengan Metode DRP (Distribution Resources Planning)

Abstract

Inventory control is a management process that aims to ensure that the number of goods or materials available in a company's stock meets needs. Raw material inventory management is one of the crucial aspects in company operational activities, especially for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Aguan Tofu Refinery is one of the MSMEs that produces tofu and faces the problem of controlling raw material supplies. This research aims to analyze raw material inventory control at the Aguan Tofu Refinery located in Kabanjahe, North Sumatra, using the Distribution Resources Planning (DRP), Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), and Period Order Quantity (POQ) methods. This research uses a quantitative approach with primary data collection techniques through interviews and direct observation. The research results show that the POQ method is more efficient than the EOQ method in managing inventory. The POQ method is also able to reduce the frequency of orders to six times a year with an average order interval of every six months. This efficiency is achieved through reduced storage and ordering costs. Through research entitled Analysis of Raw Material Inventory Control at the Aguan Tofu Refinery Using the DRP (Distribution Resources Planning) Method, it was concluded that the application of the POQ method could be a strategic solution for MSMEs in managing raw material supplies effectively and efficiently.
