    Abstract
    Increasing temperature in floating photovoltaics (FPV) leads to a decrease in PV efficiency. Several thermosyphon passive cooling performances have been put forward by researchers. including the performance of the natural convection cooling loop against the height of the cooling reservoir. But until now. there has been no application of natural convection cooling loop performance to the height of heatabsorbing aluminum. The purpose of this study is to determine the performance of natural convection cooling loop against the height of heat-absorbing aluminum. The experimental results show that the height of (FPV) 40 cm heat-absorbing aluminum against the water surface has a higher electrical average efficiency of 26.99% than the height of (FPV) 80 cm heat-absorbing aluminum against the water surface of 25.67%. The lower PV heat release has a lower PV temperature. the PV heat release of 40 cm heat absorbing aluminum height is lower at 100.945 W/m2K than 80 cm heat absorbing aluminum height at 171.061 W/m2K.
