The Effect of Inventory Turnover, Account Receivable Turnover, Cash Turnover, Debt To Equity Ratio, and Exchange Rate on Profitability in Pharmaceutical Subsector Companies That Listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange Period 2018-2022
Abstract
This study aims to analyze and determine the effect of inventory turnover, account receivable turnover, cash turnover, debt to equity ratio, and exchange rate on profitability in pharmaceutical subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2018-2022. This research data is financial report data sourced from the pharmaceutical subsector company website, the Indonesia Stock Exchange website, and the Bank Indonesia website so that the type of data used is secondary data. The number of samples in this study were nine companies using purposive sampling. The data analysis used is multiple linear regression of panel data processed using Eviews 12. Simultaneously, the results of this study indicate that inventory turnover, account receivable turnover, cash turnover, debt to equity ratio, and exchange rate have a positive and significant effect on profitability in pharmaceutical subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2018-2022. Partially, the results of this study indicate that both account receivable turnover and exchange rate have a positive and insignificant effect on profitability, but inventory turnover has a positive and significant effect on profitability. Meanwhile, cash turnover has a negative and insignificant effect on profitability, but debt to equity ratio has a negative and significant effect on profitability.
